Route Overview
Ashley Gorge through
The Soup to T-Rex Terrace
The Soup Sector follows The Pump and Thagomizer within the central portion of Ashley Gorge. It is generally less physically demanding than The Pump, although most climbers reach it after completing considerable hiking and climbing.
The sector’s best-known feature is the Dynomite Sky Bridge, one of the route’s most recognizable crossings. After the bridge, climbers can continue toward T-Rex Terrace or use the Bridge Gully Primitive Trail to descend toward the canyon-bottom trail.
Spend some time at T-Rex Terrace enjoying the view and snapping a group photo, then decide which of the four available exits you plan to take out of the canyon (Toothy Grin Topout, Jurasskicked, Abduction, or back up Outlaw).
